ILLUSTRATION CASE STUDY
Fantasy Storybook
Illustration
A 24-page illustrated narrative combining expressive characters, fantasy environments, and clear sequential storytelling.

OVERVIEW
Building one consistent world across 24 pages.
The project required a complete illustrated story with recurring characters, detailed locations, action sequences, and fantasy creatures.
Each page needed to move the narrative forward while keeping costumes, personalities, environments, and color consistent from scene to scene.
Role: Illustration & page design
Scope: 24 finished pages
Deliverables: Layered files & final artwork
PROCESS
Three parts of the work
1

Plan the sequence
I divided the story into scenes and arranged each page around the most important action, dialogue, or emotional beat.
2

Maintain continuity
Character designs, clothing, scale, and locations were kept recognizable throughout changing camera angles and compositions.
3

Finish each page
Clean linework, color, lighting, and panel flow were refined before the artwork was prepared for final production.
FINAL RESULT
A complete visual narrative,
from first page to last.

OUTCOME
The final 24-page story balances readable panel layouts with detailed illustration. The finished project demonstrates long-form visual consistency, character acting, environment design, and production-ready page execution.
